a cultural exploration
Tumi is a first year undergraduate student at St Hilda's College Studying Psychology and Linguistics. Sounds of Diaspora explores the music produced by 1st and 2nd generation immigrants and how their experiences of dual heritage have shaped their art and their music. It will explore some of the history behind new emerging genres and the influence of black music on the modern industry.
